For a lot of people this can be traumatic, but with so many opportunities out there, it's not worth the stress of sticking with something you hate, for a regular paycheck. More times than not, it ends up opening new doors and opportunities. It can be scary to not have the income, but if it allows you to do something you love, then you absolutely made the right decision. Good luck on the job hunt.
